Humor is the ability or quality of people, objects, or situations to evoke feelings of amusement in other people.
A form of human communication which evokes such feelings, or which makes people laugh or feel happy.

Wit is the ability to perceive, enjoy, or express what is amusing, comical, incongruous, or absurd.
A person's manner of “emotional response”. Their temper or temperament.

A sense of humor is the ability to experience humor, a quality which all people share, although the extent to which an individual will personally find something humorous depends on a host of absolute and relative variables, including geographical location, culture, maturity, level of education, and context.

Types of Humor (Common classification)

4) Goofy

1) Dry / Sarcasm:
Sarcasm is a form of irony which uses sharp wit to highlight the obviousness, stupidity, or annoyance-factor of a situation
Sarcastic humor is described as caustic and bitter, describing situations, persons, or things in a derogatory way in order to be funny. It refers to a humor that is at once cutting and bold in both in a mocking fashion.
Irony is a leading part of sarcastic humor i.e. using words to express something completely different from the literal meaning. Usually, someone says the opposite of what they mean and the listener believes the opposite of what they said.


Examples:

Verbal Irony: Sarcasm - When the speaker says, "I appreciate your help.", when no help was provided to the speaker, makes that comment sarcastic.
Overstatement (Hyperbole) - "There was never anyone as educated.” in describing someone who is uneducated.
Understatement - When the speaker says, "It was a bit cold.", when he has lost a leg due to frost bite.

2) Clever/quick witted
Mentally agile and resourceful; tactful" A keenly alert mind

3) Friendly
Trying to make conversation, being friendly. Trying to break the ice of awkwardness.

4) Goofy
Goofy is a Silly, ridiculous cartoon character created by Walt Disney
Goofing means making fool of yourself . Fake “being foolish” to break the ice and make people feel comfortable.
It is marked with physical stuff, funny voices and poop jokes etc. Getting laughs is what matters most to the people with a goofy sense of humor.
Example: The Three Stooges that makes people howl with laughter.

5) Slapstick
A boisterous (animated) form of comedy marked by chases, collisions, and crude practical jokes
A Rough and high-spirited comedy in which the characters behave childishly.

6) Campy / cheesy
Camp derives from the French slang term se camper, meaning “to pose in an exaggerated fashion”.
Camp is an aesthetic in which something has appeal because of its bad taste or ironic value.
Initially it was used to refer to exaggerated and ostentatious humor
Example: Theatrical or homosexual behavior.

7) Obscure
Humor that people don’t easily understand, A joke missed by majority of people


8) Raunchy
It is typically sexual in nature i.e. referring to body parts/functions. Frankly sexual in content or tone; Obscene dirty words, lewd or vulgar. Suggestive of or tending to moral looseness; an indecent gesture .
